The RamQuest User Group, Inc. (“RQUG”) is a non-profit corporation structured for the intent of giving users of RamQuest a forum to help influence product direction and a central organization to share and communicate thoughts, ideas, help, and more, with each other and RamQuest. What follows is RQUG's online privacy policy, which governs personal information gathered on our Internet site, www.rqug.org.

RQUG's Commitment to Online Security
Physical, electronic and managerial procedures have been employed to safeguard the security and integrity of personal information. All RQUG members, agents, and contractors with access to personal information obtained on the RQUG web sites are also bound to adhere to this policy as part of their agreement with RQUG. To protect the security of information supplied by members participating in the RQUG program, members are provided usernames and passwords to access their information.

It is your responsibility to keep your password confidential. Do not share this information with anyone. If you are sharing a computer with anyone you should always choose to log out before leaving a site or service to protect access to your information from subsequent users.

Personal Information that RQUG May Collect Online
The RQUG collects personal information online, including, but not limited to, names, postal and e-mail addresses, phone and facsimile numbers. The RQUG may also collect business information from sole proprietorships that apply for membership and for program participation, some of which could constitute personal information, as well as personal information from individuals acting solely in their business capacity.

The RQUG does not knowingly collect or maintain any personal information from children under the age of 18. In addition, no part of our sites are designed with the purpose of attracting any person under age 18.

The RQUG may also collect business information from sole proprietorships that apply for membership and for event participation, some of which could constitute personal information, as well as Personally Identifiable Information from individuals acting solely in their business capacity.

“Personally Identifiable Information” (PII) means any information that identifies you personally, including, without limitation, your name, e-mail address, password, login ID and other contact information that you voluntarily submit to us. Visitors of the Site can also choose not to enter any of their Personally Identifiable Information.

In the event that you become an RQUG member, or you register for an RQUG event, this PII stays with you. RQUG may still communicate with you based on your activity on the website.

Children's Privacy
The RQUG does not knowingly contact or collect personal information from children under 13. Our Site is not targeted toward children under 13, nor is it designed to solicit information from children under 13. If you believe that we have mistakenly or unintentionally collected such information through our Site, please notify us so that we may immediately delete the information from our servers.

How RQUG Uses Personal Information Collected Online
Unless you otherwise consent, we will use your personal information only for the purpose for which it is submitted, such as to reply to your emails and process billing and business requests related to program participation, and we will use such information to provide operational notices, in program record-keeping and to conduct research on industry marketplace practices. Our research may lead to the publication of aggregate demographical data but will not result in the reporting or publication of any personal information provided to us. How Your Information May Be Shared
When we receive a request or inquiry that RQUG must handle, we forward the request or inquiry to the appropriate RQUG committee member. By completing any form or sending us a request or inquiry, you are allowing us to forward your information to the appropriate RQUG committee member, if necessary, and potentially also to the proper business. Without submission of the requested information, the RQUG will not be able to process your registration, request, or inquiry. The RQUG also offers an online feature to only its registered members, known as the Member Directory. At the time of registration, you can opt to not have your information displayed in this directory.

We never sell or rent your personal information or use it for purposes other than what it was intended.

The RQUG may also release personal information under the following circumstances:

To the RQUG Member Directory only if you have allowed RQUG to publish the limited information, (available to only registered members of RQUG inside the Member Area), consisting of your first name, last name, company name, city, state, zip code, and email address.

Where release is required by law (for example, a subpoena) or regulation or is requested by a government agency;

Where our records indicate a company may be engaged in fraudulent activity or other deceptive practices that a governmental agency should be made aware of;

To appropriate governmental authorities, where warranted by a company's failure to participate in the advertising self-regulatory process or respond to an online privacy complaint, or where a company fails to honor the recommendations of the National Advertising Division, Children's Advertising Review Unit, National Advertising Review Board; or

To appropriate persons, where your communication suggests possible harm to others.

Help Us Keep Your Personal Information Accurate
If your personal information changes or you would like to review the personal information we may have on file, please update your profile on our site or contact us at one of the methods of contact listed here with the new information.

Computer Tracking and Cookies
Our web site is not set up to track, collect or distribute personal information not entered by visitors. Our site log does generate certain kinds of non-identifying site usage data, such as the number of hits and visits to our sites. This information is used for internal purposes by technical support staff to provide better services to the public and may also be provided to others, but again, the statistics contain no personal information and cannot be used to gather such information.

The RQUG will gather information such as what kind of browser visitors are on, what operating system they are using, their IP address, cookie information, time stamp (time page accessed as well as time spent per web page) and their clickstream information (for example, which pages they have viewed and how long they have been there). Note that information is only gathered while the visitor is on the Site. The RQUG monitors how a visitor arrives at the Site but cannot and will not gather information about other third-party sites the user has visited. RQUG automatically receives and records such information on our server logs from your browser.

A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from a Web server and stored on your computer's hard drive. RQUG uses non-identifying cookies to provide easier site navigation and access to forms. You can still use the RQUG site if your browser is set to reject cookies. Our cookies do not generate personal data, do not read personal data from your machine, and are never tied to anything that could be used to identify you.

The Site may provide links to other websites or resources over which the RQUG does not have control ("External Web Sites"). Such links do not constitute an endorsement, approval, or recommendation by the RQUG of those External Web Sites. By accessing or using this Site, you acknowledge that the RQUG is providing these links to you only as a convenience, and further agree that the RQUG is not responsible for the content of such External Web Sites. Reservation of Rights
the RQUG reserves the right to change the terms of this privacy policy at any time in its sole discretion and will post notice of the updated Privacy Policy on this page so you are always aware of what Personally Identifiable Information we may collect and how we may use this information. The RQUG may also send registered users of the Sites e-mail notifications notifying such users of any changes to the Privacy Policy.
